Prudent Man’s Temple

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. (1 Cor 6)

Hi, I’m Hop. In February of 2025, I hit my heaviest, weakest, and least healthy physically. I went skiing with a close friend in Utah during that month and realized just how out of shape I had let things get. But I made a decision in that moment, “No more.”

I joined a local gym (Inman Health & Fitness) in March 2025, and I started the discipline of planning and tracking my workouts in April 2025 using the Hevy app. By July 2025, I had become consistent with daily workouts and improvements to my diet. By August 2025, my wife joined in the fun with consistent daily workouts, and we made room in our basement for a home gym with padded floors and dumbbells. By October 2025, I began streaming my morning devotional and workouts on Tiktok, and we ordered a Force USA C20 All-in-One Functional Trainer with Sliding Bench and completed renovations for our basement gym.
