Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

So what is a disciple?

If I am called to be a student, how much time am I spending gaining knowledge from the book that holds the knowledge?

Am I doing His will? Do I have a grasp on the Truth of His will, or am I just guessing based on what “I think is right”?

Maybe I’m just behind the curve, but I find new areas in my life daily that need refinement and correction. I continue to be surprised by what my human reason would have thought was right as opposed to what scripture demonstrates is truth.

Proverbs 3:5

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not depend on your own understanding.”
