Today is going to be great!

We have a great day ahead of us today, friends!

Let’s make it a great day!

Let’s walk through today with purpose,  not just letting it pass us by thinking of it as “just another day”. Today is the only shot we will have at putting meaning into these 24 hours.

Let’s honor and value those around us, because we never know if today is some of their few hours or moments remaining with us.

Let’s honor and value our creator God, Lord and Savior,  Jesus Christ,  and Holy Spirit teacher and guide, by a life lived in conversation and relationship and awareness of our spiritual purpose and destiny.

Let’s make this day a world shattering day!

Wow,  just wow. I wrote this before even looking at today’s devotional verse.

Psalms 39:4 NLT
Lord , remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered— how fleeting my life is.

Time is valuable.

It either slips through our hands like sand escaping from our grasp and then it is gone –

Or we use this sand,  this time that we have, with a purpose and a meaning.

Today, I want to be aware of the value of this disappearing resource, and use it wisely and thankfully – in a life lived with purpose and meaning, in a life loving and serving and helping those around me wherever and however I can, letting them know that I value them as well as the time that we have together.
