He didn’t remain in His grave clothes when the stone was rolled away, neither should we.

Today is about victory.
Today is about miracles.
Today is about life.
Today is about Jesus Christ.

John 11:25-26 ESV
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,  and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Today is about His Love extended to an undeserving world.
Today is about forgiveness.
Today is about mercy.
Today is about grace.

Today is about my risen Savior Jesus Christ sitting at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
Today is about His glory.
Today is about His honor.
Today is about His power.

Today is about this gift of the Holy Spirit in me.
Today is about renewal.
Today is about redemption.
Today is about rejoicing.

And yes,  today is about a lost world in need of this Good News.
Today is about YOUR calling and purpose in life as a disciple of Christ Jesus.

And shouldn’t that be true about every day?

Are you leaning on Jesus today like the disciples all leaned to Him at the last supper? Where is your confidence founded? Is your foundation firmly upon the rock of Jesus Christ?

Are you paddling in the boat working hard with your fellow disciples trying to get out of the storm and to the other side, or are you hiding from the storm and hunkered down hoping that the storm will cease,  or are you hearing the voice of your Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and stepping out on the waters – even though you know they are over your head – expecting and trusting God to do miraculous things.

Because He is Almighty God.

He is in the business of miracles and things beyond our understanding and beyond our comprehension.

He is an awesome God that deserves or honor and praise and worship.

If we want to see miracles, we need to step off of dry land into the cleansing waters of Hope to join our fellow disciples in this boat of the church,  we need to diligently use our gifts to work with Faith that this storm will grow us stronger and will not tear us apart, and we need to step out to the Lord when He calls – abandoning our fears and trusting in Him to do miraculous things through us.

Awake.
Arise.
Live,  child of God.
Hear my call!
Cast off the grave!
Cat away the disease and death of sin.
Rise up and walk.
Be healed of your infirmities!
Be made whole!
Know that you are becoming the righteousness of God!

Get off the dry land.
Get out of your false securities of this world.
Be washed over by the living waters of Jesus Christ!
Be cleansed and covered by the protecting blood of His mercy and grace!
Know His Love for YOU!

Get in the boat and help and serve others,  help them through the storm,  working together as a unified body of Christ.

And when you hear the call,  when you hear His soft still voice,  telling you,  “Do not be afraid” – trust Him,  and step out onto the water, and even if you are week and stumble,  watch Him lift you up to walk upon the waters.

See the miracles He has in store for you.

Know that the storm is just bringing you closer to them.
