But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the Lord ’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Lord, help us to flourish not grumble, to grow not to turn back, to produce the fruit of your Holy Spirit not the poison of sinful desires, to remain green and vital not weary and anxious. Help us to declare your glory, proclaim your Good News, sing your praises, love your Word, serve your people, be your disciples. By your power, and to confirm your promises, make us like you. Amen.
