WE need to know this, friend
How would we know something was cold if we had nothing warm to compare it to?
How would we know what God is like unless He revealed himself in ways that we could grasp?

Gardens.
Yes, for man, it all started in a garden.
And there are many lessons we can learn from God’s revelation through His creation around us. We can find that there are are plants and animals that are good for us to eat, and there are things that are poisonous as well.
And we can learn that things are either alive and growing or dead and rotting.
It was not that long ago that I avoided attending church. In fact, it seemed like it would be a sacrifice to have to get up early on Sunday mornings instead of getting to sleep in.
But oh how things can change drastically when the Lord grabs hold of our lives.
Psalms 122:1 NLT
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord .”
Unfortunately, it is more common to hear the question “It’s okay if I stumble, right?” – instead of the question “How can I walk without stumbling?”
You see, one is not only admitting past defeat, but expecting defeat in the future as well. While the other is seeking victory for their lives.
We either learn by receiving instruction from our teachers, or we learn through practical experience (or we refuse to learn).
When it comes to matters of life and death, it is much wiser to seek guidance and instruction – than for my life to eventually become a cautionary tale of practical experience that was gained “a second too late” because I foolishly insisted on learning only through life’s experiences.
What do we see when we look at the Bible?
Non-believers might say a story book or religion, but expect them to not get it because they acknowledge their blindness and separation from God.
